Sources say that the mausoleum is located in the southern part of Bukhara, and there is also a stone well. The mausoleum is included in the national list of immovable property objects of the material and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan. The internal dimensions of the Turki Jandi mausoleum are 4.2 x 4.25 meters, and the walls are 1.5 meters thick. The mausoleum is covered with a dome on both sides and has three windows.  Hello my darlings welcome to my blog 🤗 Today we visited to Bokiy Bukhoro and now I'm going to tell you about this place On August 30, 2010, on the initiative and under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, the Bukhara Cultural Center Complex was opened. The complex includes the monument “Kukhna va bokiy Bukhoro”, the building of the regional musical drama theater and an amphitheater. The center represents the hard work and potential of the Uzbek people. In the very center, three grandiose buildings catch your eye - a monument, an amphitheater and a Musical Drama Theater. The majestic monument, 18 meters high, attracts your attention. The creator of the monument is the talented sculptor Ilkhom Zhabborov. The monument is a composition, and each part of it has its own meaning Near the steps, a “panorama of belts” attracts attention - a symbol of the sacred land. The Hoja Zayniddin

Hello my dears welcome to my blog 🤗  The Hoja Zayniddin is a mid-16th century mosque located at the junction of two side streets 300 meters southwest of the Po-i-Kalyan square within the shahr-i-darun, or "inner city". Although its interior houses the grandest dome in Bukhara, very little of substance is known about the origin of the building—both its sponsor and its architect have been lost to the mists of time. Even so, the quality of construction, its proximity to the heart of the city, and its large footprint strongly suggest it was a product of the city's ruling elite, or even of the Khan himselforganized around an east-west axis canted to the south, toward Mecca, with the qibla wall to the west. The ideal mosque is symmetrical, but the dense urban fabric of 16th century Bukhara likely necessitated a compromise, such that the angle of the building's south and west facades (facing the street) are out of kilter with the primary axis.  The building's prayer ha

Hello my darlings welcome to my blog 🤗  Modari-khan Madrasah and Abdullah-khan Madrasah🏛🏛🏛. The buildings stand on narrow street sides, faced partal to each other. Modari-khan Madrasah was built in 974 of hydjr or 1566 - 1567. The date is pointed out with poems on majolica paintings over entrance. It is the modest model of Madrasah with gorgeous-faced main facade. He built Abdull-khan Madrasah in 1558 – 1590. During the reign of Sheybanid Abdul Khan II (1557-1597), the architectural ensemble of Kosh Madrasah from two opposing madrassas was built in Bukhara. The first is Modarikhan Madrasah built around 1567. In honor of the mother of Abdullah Khan, the second is named after Abdullah Khan himself and was built in 1588-1590. The main facade of the Modari Khan (translated as the mother of the Khan) of the rich is decorated by the Modari Khan Madrasah in Bukhara with tiles from multi-colored brick mosaics that form geometric patterns. Pridaskir mosque

Hello everyone welcome to my blog 🤗 Today we visited to the Pridaskir mosque  Originally, mosques were simple places of prayer for the early Muslims, and may have been open spaces rather than elaborate buildings. In the first stage of Islamic architecture (650–750 CE), early mosques comprised open and closed covered spaces enclosed by walls, often with minarets, from which the Islamic call to prayer was issued on a daily basis. It is typical of mosque buildings to have a special ornamental niche (a mihrab) set into the wall in the direction of the city of Mecca (the qibla), which Muslims must face during prayer, as well as a facility for ritual cleansing (wudu). The pulpit (minbar), from which public sermons (khutbah) are delivered on the event of Friday prayer, was, in earlier times, characteristic of the central city mosque, but has since become common in smaller mosques. To varying degrees, mosque buildings are designed so that there are segregated spaces for men and women. This ba

Hello everyone. Today we were in historical memorial complex Chor Bakr. Chor-Bakr is a memorial complex in the village of Sumitan at 5 km of Bukhara in Uzbekistan, built over the burial place of Abu-Bakr-Said, who died in the year 360 of the Muslim Calendar (970–971 AD), and who was one of the four of Abu-Bakrs (Chor-Bakr) – descendants of Muhammad. The complex includes the necropolis of family tombs, and courtyards enclosed with walls. The Chor Bakr Memorial Complex, also known as Sumitan's cemetery, was established by Shaybanid ruler Abdullaxon II in 1559, and it includes a mausoleum, a mosque, a madrasa, and a large courtyard surrounded by high walls. In the following centuries, additional buildings were constructed, and the complex was expanded to include adjacent areas. Abdullaxon II allocated 70,000 gold coins for the construction of this memorial complex. The central building of the complex is th e mausoleum, which has doors on all four sides. Sayyid Bandikusho

Today we were at the Sayyid Bandikusho mausoleum. This old place reminds us of history, it seemed to us as if we had stepped back into the past. We told the story of Bandikusho and took pictures with the group. this was very interesting for me.  One day, Sayyid Abulhasan al-Hamadani was angered by the ruler of Bukhara and was imprisoned. Before his death, he asked to be buried in his house with his feet shackled because of his suffering, but 20 years later his bones were moved to another place.  There are also different narrations about his blessings. According to Olga Sukhareva, during the prayer in the prison, her handcuffs suddenly came off, she performed the prayer without any difficulties, and after the prayer, she became shackled. The ruler of Bukhara saw this in a dream and immediately released him from custody. Prepared by Askarova Kamola Akbarovna 15FLL-22 😊
