On August 30, 2010, on the initiative and under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, the Bukhara Cultural Center Complex was opened. The complex includes the monument “Kukhna va bokiy Bukhoro”, the building of the regional musical drama theater and an amphitheater.

The center represents the hard work and potential of the Uzbek people. In the very center, three grandiose buildings catch your eye - a monument, an amphitheater and a Musical Drama Theater. The majestic monument, 18 meters high, attracts your attention. The creator of the monument is the talented sculptor Ilkhom Zhabborov. The monument is a composition, and each part of it has its own meaning

Near the steps, a “panorama of belts” attracts attention - a symbol of the sacred land. Next, the talented geniuses of the Bukhara land are captured - Abu Ali ibn Sino, Khuzha Orif Revgari, Abdurauf Fitrat, Mutavakkil Burkhanov and many other people who left an indelible mark on the cultural and scientific life of Uzbekistan. Their names are immortalized in gold letters on the monument. A little higher in three languages ​​- English, Arabic and Uzbek, there is a saying: “Comprehension of knowledge is the duty of all Muslims, both men and women.” The bas-relief depicts various monuments - the Magoki Attor Mosque, the Ismail Samani Madrasah, the Bukhara Arch and many others.
