🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛🏛 Hello everyone welcome to my blog 🤗 Today we have been in Poi Kalyan with my group mates and Inobat Zoirovna.Weather is sunny but also windy.  Po-i-Kalan, or Poi Kalan is an Islamic religious complex located in Bukhara, Uzbekistan. The complex consists of three parts, the Kalan Mosque , the Kalan Minaret to which the name refers to, and the Mir-i-Arab Madrasah. The positioning of the three structures creates a square courtyard in its center, with the Mir-i-Arab and the Kalan Mosque standing on opposite ends. In addition, the square is enclosed by a bazaar and a set of baths connected to the Minaret on the northern and southern ends respectively. Both the Kalan Mosque and Minaret were initially commissioned by Arslan Khan in 1121, with the famed Kalan Minaret concluding construction in 1127.However, Genghis Khan destroyed the original Friday Mosque in 1220, leaving only the Kalan Minaret untouched. Now I will tell you some interesting informations about this place and show some photos 📸 📷 🖼 🤳.  Nadir Devonbegi madrasa, located in the eastern part of the Labi pool ensemble of Bukhara city, was built by Nadir Mirza sultan, the minister of Bukhara Khan Imam Qulikhan. He was one of the heads of the Yuz clan and lived and worked in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. The madrasa was built between 1622-1623. It dates back to the late Middle Ages. If we talk about the historical conditions of the period when the architectural monument was built, shortly before Imam Quli Khan ascended the throne, Baqi Muhammad (1601-1605) ruled on the throne. In 1602, he attacked the Safavids of Iran and subdued Balkh by force and appointed his brother Wali Muhammad as governor. After the death of Baqi Muhammad in 1605, his brother Wali Muhammad was placed

Along with the Kalyan mosque and minaret, this religious educational establishment forms the whole ensemble Poi-Kalyan that is the spiritual center of the city. Construction of the Miri-Arab madrasah dates back to the 16th century and is related to the sheikh Abdallah Yamani (from Yemen), the spiritual pir (guide) of sheybanids. The exact date of the beginning of the construction is still unknown. According to one version, scientists believe that the building was erected in the period of 1530-1535/1536. The other version states, that the madrasah was built to celebrate the victory of the sheybanid army over the troops of the Sefevid shah Ismail I in the battle of Gijduvan in 1512. It is also supposed that the final construction works were carried out on the funds of Ubaydulla-khan; the money received from the sale of 3000 capt

🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞 Hello everyone . Welcome to my blog. Today I'll tell you about Kalyan minaret.  The Kalyan Minaret is a minaret of the Po-i-Kalyan mosque complex in Bukhara, Uzbekistan and one of the most prominent landmarks in the city. The minaret, designed by Bako, was built on an earlier existing structure called Kalyan by the Qarakhanid ruler Mohammad Arslan Khan in 1127 to summon Muslims to prayer five times a day. An earlier tower was collapsed before starting this structure which was called Kalyan, meaning welfare, indicating a Buddhist or zoroasterian past. It is made in the form of a circular-pillar baked brick tower, narrowing upwards. It is 45.6 metres high , of 9 metres diameter at the bottom and 6 metres overhead. There is a brick spiral staircase that twists up inside around the pillar to the rotunda. The tower base has narrow ornamental strings belted across it made of bricks which are placed in both straight or diagonal fashion. The frieze is
