Hi everyone. Welcome to my blog 🤗. Today we have been in Bahouddin Naqshband shrine.Weather is windy but sunny 🌞

Bahauddin complex - hazira complex near the tomb of Sheikh Bahauddin Naqshband. The mausoleum was organized by the order of Abdulaziz Khan, and it was built now, and in 1544-45, the largest building of the complex was built. Bahauddin complex consists of , mausoleum, 2 mosques, bath house, pool, well
, minaret, Madrasah and Abdulaziz Khan's house. The complex begins with a small domed gatehouse. After passing through the gate, it is known that there was a small mosque on the right and various buildings for pilgrims on the left. Along the way, on the left is the tomb of the Khans - Dakhmai Shahon. Dakhmai Shahon is rectangular, 2.5 m high, covered with gray marble. There are excellent examples of marble carving and calligraphy.
Shelves, columns, honors, cypress images and other decorations are carved on the marbles; patterns are sometimes mixed with inscriptions. The passage through the Dakhmai Shahan leads to an elegantly decorated peshtoq. After passing through the door of Peshtoq, there is a domed mausoleum on the right . On the left - at the entrance is the 6-pillared  Mu-Zaffarkhan mosque with a front porch. Next to the mosque is the 2-pillared Hakim Qushbegi mosque . In the south of it there are decorated porches, and in the north there are undecorated porches.
Bahauddin Dakhmasi is a large murabba-shaped supa covered with marble, surrounded by a beautiful marble fence. A little further, to the north, there is a circular marble pool with a length of 9.5 m, and on the north side of it there is a smaller, beautiful sago hall. Between Bahauddin's shack and the pond is a well, and from a beautiful shed next to it, pilgrims were given "holy" water in various shaped containers.

In the north of the Hakim Qushbegi Mosque, there is an invisible minaret, and beyond it there is another pond 3 times larger than the pond in the yard. A room was built on a rectangular platform outside the courtyard . In the center, there is a mosque surrounded by porches, with a mihrab made in the style of Chorzamin. On both sides of the building there were symmetrically built two-story large and small rooms. Bahauddin complex also includes "Qasri Orifon" mosque located 0.5 km northeast of it; next to it is a small tower. The mosque is surrounded by ivy on 3 sides; a pool with a ceiling pattern. The Bahouddin complex is an example of the achievements of the 16th century architecture in building a new ensemble, which differs from symmetrical ensembles with double buildings.

Bahouddin Naqshband shrine, located in the village of Qasri Orifon, 10 km north-east of Bukhara city, was formed over five hundred years. There is very little information about its early history. The first buildings in front of the tombs of Bahauddin Naqshband appeared after the death of Hazrat. During architectural and archeological research, the remains and foundations of the first buildings were found. "Dahmai Shahon"  was established here, where representatives of the ruling dynasty of Bukhara were buried.

The Shaybani and Ashtarkhani huts located in the west of Bahauddin Naqshband Khazira, i.e., "Dahmai shahon", are interesting.
 gates from the west.

At the end of the 15th century, a hut was built over the graves of Bahauddin Naqshband, and it was decorated with a marble covering and a beautiful ornamental marble grill that matched each other in size. Naqshband graves were surrounded by a hedge, and in its north-west corner, a house was built in 951 AH . Another historical architectural monument preserved in Bahauddin Naqshband shrine is the saqakhona. This building was built in the late 19th and early 20th century. On the north side of the shrine of the saint, there is a small dome-shaped, arched, and small koshk near the small pond. Such small cisterns are known as sagokhana, where clean drinking water is stored. If we talk about the unique aspects of the Bahauddin Naqshband architectural complex, until the beginning of the 20th century, pilgrims entered the territory of the shrine through three consecutive gates from the west.

On the initiative of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov, the 675th anniversary of the birth of Bahauddin Naqshband was held , the complex was renovated, additional buildings were built.

That is all. Thanks for your attention.
